About

Providing pet owners & animal lovers lasting memories of their pets through professional photography. Tammy Winkel has always been an animal lover. She began riding horses when she was nine years old and has been active in animal welfare, and a pet owner for many years.  When she is not teaching riding lessons, she is out capturing animal expressions with her camera. Her work has produced stunning images of dogs, cats and horses.

Tammy has a special place in her heart for rescue animals and  gives back to the community by donating photography sitting sessions as raffle prizes and items for silent auction fundraisers for the Franklin County  Humane Society  of Franklin County NC.

Tammy has won several awards for her photography. Tammy’s photo of her miniature horse was just published as the cover photo for Southeast Hoofbeats magazine in November  2016

Tammy is an active member of the Franklin County Arts Council, The FCAC Photography Guild and a volunteer with Paws For Life Animal Rescue.
